Another Solution to Animation Queue Buildup in jQuery
Or: Why do hover animations continue after I stop hovering?
Over at learningjQuery.com, Brandon Aaron published a quick tip on how to prevent animation queue buildup in hover animations. Since I was not satisfied with his solution, I tried to find another.
After taking some wrong paths and learning a lot about jQuery's animation (queue) system, I think I finally found a good solution.
The last locigal step was to wrap it up into a nice jQuery plugin - and so hoverFlow was born.

Meerkat, named for its pop up like behavior, is a jQuery plugin created by myself, Jarod Taylor. It was originally created to serve a specific purpose, however, by adding additional functionality to it, I've found several uses for it.
Whether it's used as a simple promotional tool, a roost for advertisements, or even as an alternative to a splash or entry page; Meerkat is unobtrusive, cross-browser compatible, and degrades gracefully if Javascript has been disabled.

Google a donc mis en place Google Code Playground, une application AJAX permettant de tester avant d’imlémenter.

Il suffit de choisir ce que l’on recherche comme fonctionnalité, et l’on a simultanément le code source et le résultat attendu. Cette fenêtre est dynamique. Par conséquent, si vous éditez le code, le résultat se mettra à jour, à la manière d’un Dreamweaver.
