Systèmes de référence spatiale et formats des fichiers de données OSM
INTRODUCTION
Lorsque l’on travaille avec OpenstreetMap et, en général, pour tous les domaines d’activités qui relèvent de la géographie, de la géomatique et des SIG (Systèmes d’Information Géographique), il est bon de connaître les systèmes de référence spatiale, les projections et les différents formats de fichiers qui s’y rapportent.
Dans ce chapitre, nous allons voir les systèmes de projection qui sont utilisés par OSM, et notamment la projection dite « Pseudo-Mercator » (également appelée « Web Mercator » ou simplement « Mercator » ; code EPSG:3857) ; elle très largement utilisée pour le rendu des cartes sur internet. Ensuite seront abordés les différents types de fichiers de données OpenStreetMap, puis les fichiers SIG qui en sont dérivés, ainsi que d’autres formats. Enfin, seront présentés les principaux services de téléchargement de donnée OSM permettant de récupérer les types de fichiers présentés juste avant.
